Impressions of our 2024 summer concert in St Nikolai Church in Berlin-Spandau on 29 June 2024
WHAT A CONCERT !!!
What a marvellous evening! On 29 June we had our annual summer concert, once again in St. Nikolai Church in Berlin-Spandau. Despite the European Championships in our own country and the German team's match against Denmark on the same evening, almost 470 tickets were sold. A tremendous success with only 490 seats available! It was once again an incredibly colourful programme with songs from Queen to Peter Fox and, as always, some modern Christian songs and gospel. Despite a small corona outbreak within the choir after a previous rehearsal, there were still around 45 singers on stage, performing 17 songs and sometimes accompanying them with challenging choreography.
And of course, our favourite percussionist Kevin Podehl was there again! He not only supported us rhythmically on the cajon and cymbals, but also accompanied us sensitively on the saxophone.
